As expected, after seeing how Jordan went by the wayside, it appears that Morgan strikes out yet again...
Will we ever see Morgan's love interest again on Criminal Minds? It appears the show has dropped the storyline. — DianeIt isn't that I wanted Tamara to work out as much as I'd like for the show to follow through on a storyline and not just assume the fans figured it out.
ADAM: It appears that way because that's exactly what happened. Between Salli Richardson-Whitfield's work on Eureka and the basic premise of the show, Tamara's return is unlikely. "Because we travel all the time, it's tough to have our characters at home and look at their personal lives," executive producer Chris Mundy tells us. "That was the issue. I don't think we'll see her again." source

Date: Mar. 25th, 2010 12:17 am (UTC)The show's been pretty lackluster since "Slave of Duty" IMO (I was so looking forward to the JJ ep and I was like... that's it? It seems that all they know how to do with her is have her be empathetic and nurturing/motherly and it's getting really one-note, but that is a rant for another time). The episodes feel kind of... idk generic lately. What elevated CM above most other crime shows for me is the uniqueness of the characters and team dynamic, and that seems to be missing from the latest eps.
I'm trying not to be cynical and assume that the creators/writers are busy playing with the sequel and it's Whedon syndrome all over again, but... I'm really starting to wonder if this is indeed the case.
