Most of the things are blocked on our Macs' at school, like, if we look for a picture of a cute bunny rabbit it's classed as pornography for some odd reason. Yet, they haven't blocked M rated fanfictions on livejournal or fanfiction? They blocked hellyeahmatthewgraygubler because I went on it like alot at school and they are now watching everything I do on the internet LOL.
Ah, but "bunny" could conceivably denote one of the Playboy variety.
I think that various Guardians of the Public Morals are more inclined to define pornography in visual terms--i.e., what a passerby might glimpse on the screen. (There may also be a gender bias involved, since women tend to be more likely to express their erotic fantasies textually. Note the absence of any great public outcry about romance novels, or any age limits on their purchase; those apparently don't register on the censorial radar as porn.)
(That said, my local public library system suffered from an excessively literal-minded Net Nanny program in the late 90's; I'd be looking for, say, "Yoshitsune", and the computer would render it as "YoXXXXsune.")
