She most likely did it because she doesn't work as much as the rest of the cast. She usually finishes shooting her parts in 1-2 days. It just makes sense to take the spinoff job.

It sounded to me like she already had the second job, or knew she was getting it, when A.J. was fired. I really don't think she was worried about getting fired.

I read some of the comments, too, and the one I don't get THE MOST (out of a whole lot of head-scratchers) was, "Some 30 year old must've made this decision."

Huh? In this context, is 30 too old or too young to make informed decisions? What does being 30 have to do with anything? I really don't understand that comment, and find it a very, very bizarre age to choose, unless the person posted was 16 and saying 30 is ancient...

As someone who just discovered CM in reruns on A&E the past month, AJ Cook is the reason why I watch the show. I've been a fan of her for ten years and think she is absolutely amazing. I love that they are all close, but I think the loss of her will be a big loss indeed.
