De-lurking
Feb. 2nd, 2007 05:08 pmDe-lurking *waves* and therefore the obligatory introduction is under the cut.
Am currently gathering 'Gen' fic recommendations - from LJ or anywhere else - and would love to hear from anyone who's got something interesting to read in the gen genre. It's much neglected in fanfic, and I'm trying to put the record straight :D
I also come bearing an interesting link:
www.crimelibrary.com has got excellent notes on profiling and serial killers. There's even an interactive detective game!
As you can also tell, I tend to ramble, and am therefore very strict about using
Name:
jadesfire2808 but you can call me jades ;)
Age: Cheeky! Old enough to know better
Location: UK
Favorite TV Show: Whatever I'm watching at the time
Other Shows Watched: Ooh, anything and everything. Buffy, Angel, SG1, CSI, CSI Miami, Queer Eye, Without a trace, House, Top Gear...
Favorite Quote:
Gideon: Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
Reid: Samuel Beckett
Morgan: Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.
Reid: Yoda.
Favorite Color: Don't know...but my favourite colour is blue
If I was a criminal, I'd be... a vandal, scribbling on signs round the country, correcting grammar and punctuation.

Date: Feb. 3rd, 2007 07:53 pm (UTC)Most of my fic is slash, but I do write gen now and again! I apologise if it is terribly bad mannered to pimp one's own stories, but there is a long gen CM fic here:
http://nebula99-fic.livejournal.com
it's called Retribution - you'll need to scroll down to get the the beginning. It's on ff.net as well.
And my Halloween one is here
part one: http://nebula99.livejournal.com/8780.html#cutid1
part two: http://nebula99.livejournal.com/8537.html#cutid1
nice to "meet" you
