 Okay, so it looks like everyone needs a bit of a chill pill after this ep, so i'm declaring this this Free-For-All-Thursday. It works like Free-For-All-Fridays, except it's still Thursday.

I made this as an entry and decided it would be better consolidated here. Timing, I has it:

In the episode where Garcia provides everyone with tablet computers, Hotch asks how she could afford them and she responds "I did a thing". Did the episode address what the "thing" was and I missed it?

It's kind of one of those little side things that's been bugging me.

I love this show because of Spencer Reid. While it isn't quite confirmed officially in canon that he's an Aspie, Matthew Gray Gubler has said he plays Spencer as if he is an Aspie. For me, that's significant, because while they sometimes tease him, the show doesn't make him the butt of jokes or an object of ridicule or someone for the others to make fun of. Even if he didn't have the Aspie tendencies, he's still respected for being smart, and I love having smart people being the good guys. He's a valuable member of his team, the others respect him, and he can even be the hero once in a while. (It also doesn't hurt that he's very attractive.)

I'm huge into Sherlock right now. Obsessively so. I actually wrote a CM/Sherlock fic a couple weeks back. I consider it a huge success that writing Reid and Sherlock in the same room didn't kill me. ;)

I adore the dynamic between Morgan and Garcia. He is so sexy when he calls her baby girl, and she is just so cute when she gives him one of her snappy comebacks. Actually, I've wanted to pinch Garcia's cheeks since day one. I've also wanted to bang Emily, but... ahem! That's another story for another time.

What I love about CM:

While they sometimes do weird and wonky things with the plots and characters that make me go :/, I love how the look and feel of it is always on target. They have amazing directors, especially the music director (I keep going back to the opening scene in Revelations, when the team shows up at Hankel's house all tense, to the beats of the Stones' Sympathy for the Devil - BRILLIANCE).

I love how they haven't gone all Without a Trace and had everyone sleeping with everyone. I love the team dynamic (my favorite episodes involve the whole team working together w/ lots of interaction). I love how each character is distinct and complex and badass in their own way. I love how Hotch sat up in his hospital bed to greet his son, and how Reid had to tell his mother he was proud to be her son, and how Morgan protects everyone so fiercely, and how Garcia will share her opinion with anyone, how Prentiss is everything cool, and how Rossi looks all crazy-eyed:

I love in this pic how the other two are all steady handed and ready to kick ass, but then there's Reid, who's all like "stay where you are, ground!" BB, I don't think aiming your gun at the ground helps. Just sayin.' (And yes, I know that the cap is "in motion" so he's bringing his gun up, but still. That's just how it looks. lol.)

So, I started to watch this show for MGG/Reid and while he's my favorite part of it, I truly love the whole cast and how awesome they are and how they all seem to get along so well both on and off screen. I've also always been interested in crime and law and psychology, so this show is a nice blend of all of that.

Pieces of Reid just remind me a lot of myself, which is why I think I'm so drawn and attached to him.

As for fandom.. it's been rough for me for the past few days, ngl. Fandom can make or break things for me. But I've met a few awesome people through CM fandom (like one of my best friends, although I technically met her through HP fandom), especially recently, and I really do love to have people to talk about my favorite show with.

Plus y'all seem to like my icons and that makes me :')

CM has become a recent development for me in the last year, I've always loved documentaries/tvshows/books on crime, mystery anything. House is my second favorite show to CM, and it has to do with the mystery factor. When I saw my first episode of CM thats when it clicked what I could do in life with my love for all of these things! Now I'm in the criminal justice program at my college.

The fandom for Criminal Minds is wonderful, I've never been involved in such an open community and one as fun, and I've been in many! I also love how all aspects and theories of anything in Criminal Minds is discussed.

Yay CM fans :D
