IMPORTANT FOR CDN CM VIEWERS

I just checked the ctv.ca website and because of American Idol on Wed? CTV will be airing CM on TUESDAY night. THat's right, we get PART 2 ON TUESDAY NIGHT. And if this is the same as last year, then we should get Tuesday night viewings for the rest of the season!

God, I love American Idol. Even though I will never, EVER watch it.

Still screwed this week and next for that matter on the Tuesday thing, but the good thing is I can d/l one day earlier.

My problem is that there are already three shows on Tuesday at nine pm that I like, and I just cannot add a fourth. I'm already watching one show, taping another, and downloading a third. Even if I watched CM and taped one of the other shows, I would still be missing the other two shows. And if I taped it, I wouldn't have time to watch it because my viewing time on Tuesday is booked up through 11 o'clock.

But I don't watch anything other than CM on Wednesdays, so I think I'm just going to have to wait until Wednesday to see what happens.

Um, no. On CTV Criminal Minds will air Tuesday night in Canada. American Idol will air Wednesday night, which is CM's usual night and the night it airs in the US. I love American Idol because CTV figures it is the more important show and they reschedule CM a day earlier....which means Canadians get it a day earlier.

Actually, American Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so Criminal Minds will be airing after AI since it's at 8 on Tuesdays, different networks but still.

As they used to say on the Red Rose Tea commercials: "Only in Canada? Pity."

Yes, only Canadians, unless you're like one of my friends who lives in Buffalo and whose cable (I think she has cable) carries CTV (common in border states, I hear). It's because there are so many shows they carry from the US they don't have the ability to show them at the regular times.

Same thing happened last year, once AI started. We got the eps on Tuesdays...including FK 1. Of course, in the fall, it goes back to Wed nights for Cdns, too.

lol that's weird. the country in which the episode is made doesn't get the episode first! But like I said in another comment, no difference to me since I don't live in USA and have to download the episodes anyway ;) Only means I'll get to see it one day earlier too!

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Last night, CM aired at 10 pm EST (in Canada on CTV, as opposed to later after the superbowl in the US) and there were no torrents up until a couple hours after the US viewing. There doesn't seem to be anyone up here who does the torrent thing...and I haven't noticed many CTV CM torrents of late. But you can hope. ;)

This is awesome that we get to see it a day earlier, but it used to work out great because there was nothing on at 10PM that I watched. Now it looks like it's going to interfere with House. :( Damn AI, lol.

When they replaced CM for AI I was really pissed. Then I noticed they moved it to tuesday instead. No need to tell you I was pleased lol

CTV still pisses me off though lol
