So I suddenly appear out of nowhere posting on the discussion of last night's episode. It's all matociquala's fault. So I guess I'd better introduce myself.

The only worldcon I've been to was the one that was in toronto.

but I used to live out in vancouver, and I went to Norwescon and Orycon out there... the year neil Gaiman was the guset of honour, was that 1997? and I don't remember who the guest was for orycon becuase I was just there to do Camarilla stuff mostly.

Well I was at the most recent Toronto worldcon and have gone to Orycon every year since 1989 and some Norwescons too. So maybe!

Well, you know, I originally tuned into CM because it had Mandy Patinkin in a starring role, but then Reid stole my heart.

reid got me from the second I saw him on the first episode. I turned to everyone in the room and said, "My people have arrived," with a great big grin, because yeah obviously young savant level nerdy genius I could take to an SF con.

then about two seconds later I said, "holy crap, he is SMOKING HOT."

and my roommate at the time said, "you have the weirdest taste in men."

and I was like you are a FREAK he is BEAUTIFUL look at him those eyes those cheekbones that MOUTH the hair just look at him but she could not see past the bad clothes and the wave your hands around wild brain power.

and then I find out that he was a runway model later that night, and she was like what? that nerd? no. you're all full of lies. I still don't understand her at all.

Well, I try to be a favorite aunt to my niece and nephew, but I don't have a lot of competition. :-)

NCIS is lots of fun, but I think CM is meatier. Though of course I adore Abby, McGee, and Ducky.
