Feb. 9th, 2007 12:10 amOkay, so I was just reading a transcript of 2.03 The Perfect Storm, and the end quote was this:
Philosopher Khalil Gibran wrote, "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The most massive characters are seared with scars."
And it struck me as major foreshadowing. Yes, it was referring to one of the victims in the episode, but it could also refer to Reid in the upcoming episodes.
Honestly? I'd build a SHRINE to the writers if they had that in mind when they used it. That'd be deserving of the biggest characterization continuity award EVER. Any thoughts?

I'm hoping they take that and run with it, instead of going the Elle route with it. :)

The character continuity is AWESOME. I love that you can look back to first season and see hints of what we later learn about Morgan and Reid, for example.
And we just got payoff Wednesday night for Reid lighting into Morgan on trust issues (The "every time I trust somebody they throw it back in my face" comment, unexplained at the time) back in The Popular Kids.
Because, um, his
dadsperm donor? Yeah. And so on.no subject
