The show will have to end. They'll have to go the Unsub!Reid route to give him an appropriate exit. I pretty much have it all plotted out in my head.

I think an awesome way to do it would be Reid go missing for, like, half the last season. The team, in between worrying over him, is dealing with one long chain of serial killings that are almost - almost - perfectly done.



Then, the finale, have the team approach a room, and when they open it, Reid is there with a gun or a bomb or something and just smirks and asks "did you miss me?"


And then a Bolivian Army Ending. Just....cut to black, there. Would love and hate it at the exact same time.

Bonus points, also, if he looks perfectly, impeccably dressed, except for his right shirtsleeve, which is rolled up above his elbow. Just a subtle but HOLY OH NO SHIT FUCK nod to Dilaudid. Or if he...

HOSHIT BETTER IDEA: He chooses to end his spree where his mental and physical issues began -- that cemetary shack in Georgia, and he stages it to look just like Revelations, but with a bomb tied to his chest.
