Newsletter hunt!

I did some digging after reading this post about the lack of a Newsletter for Criminal Minds on LJ.

There isn't one that I can find. *pokes LiveJournal*. So, anyone want to give me a hand with one? I'm in blissful ignorance of the details of how graphics/icons/wallpapers work, but am pretty good with words and content.

Anyone of a more artistic bent want to give me a hand? And anyone willing to scan the comms about once a week (assuming I can con convince 6 other people into helping me)? I can do Tues-Fri fairly well, but would need help for the rest of the week. I reckon 4 of us should be a good minimum and we could start with every other day or even once a week at first. I have a list of places to start that I know about, and will take suggestions for others.

It should be fairly hassle-free once up and running - check out torchwood_three for one that I think works well. Whaddya think?


Now all I have to do is come up with a name...

I'll help! I'm pretty good with graphics, although I'm not real strong on custom LJ layouts. I can scan comms at least one day a week, as well.

I looked at the torchwood comm you linked to - this looks like a great idea!

I've been reading the TW newsletter and it's a great way to keep up with the fandom without having too many comms on your friendslist.

So, I'll help.

As for a name, I'd suggest something simple, like cm_news or something. Or if you want to be sneaky clever, you could name it bau_inbox or something like that (because I think weekly newsletter and automatically imagine Hotch at his desk late at night, working through all the paperwork and stuff in his inbox before he can finally call it a day and go home). Something that's not too obvious, but obvious enough once you think about it.

I'm willing to help as well; I can do graphics and could do one day a week sccan of the comms as well, with Saturday or Sunday being the best for me, but I could do a different day if so needed.
