the_bau is a CRIMINAL MINDS based role-play community picking up from the season 6 finale. All canon characters must begin with the history provided up until, and including, the finale for the show’s 2010/11 season. Characters from other crime-drama syndicates, (such as NCIS, Bones, Covert Affairs, etc.) who can realistically cross paths with our profilers, are welcome. We are accepting applications and are currently only 4 characters strong (Reid, Garcia, Morgan and Prentiss). The game will be more more of what the show doesn't give us (character driven) to include our outside of canon characters. Doors will officially open August 1st. Check us out! :)

Should be, yeah. I conversed with someone named Ashley about the app but never got any response after I posted my additional first person sample.

Yeah, Ashley is who copied me on the acceptance email and I was who replied to your application in the comm. Sorry you're finding out this way but technology seems to have something against you. :(

Question - On the list of "available" characters, should I put Seaver or not? Also what other kind of characters are you looking for besides cop-like folks from other shows? Like, unsubs, anything like that?

The replies are screened but you should have had notifs and see the comment with the journal you posted with. =/

Answer - Seaver can be listed. I'm sure she is in the comm profile. And while someone could play an unsub, I'd rather unsubs be NPCs since they couldn't realistically remain in game or interact with other characters for long.

No experience necessary! Role-playing is just like fic writing, just for the one character. The game is resetting from a CM only RPG but there are still some old posts if you'd like to take a look how it works. :)
