I know this sentiment will probably be echoed by many, but Henry's Halloween costume was the cutest thing ever. And Reid, your Gubler is showing a little, ha ha. I was glad to see Reid seems to have a continuing relationship with Henry given that he's his godfather.
On an unrelated note, that white blouse JJ was wearing in that last scene was GORGEOUS.
I'd been giving it some time but it's official: I like Blake. Girlfriend can think on her feet.
So many triggers in 42 minutes. I'm thoroughly impressed, and too strongly reminded of that ep where the unsub cooked the victim and fed her to the rescue teams. As usual, my main point-for-thought after an ep like this was did the kid have a free therapy clause in her contract. Some things kids shouldn't be subjected to, even as acting. *shudder*
Is it just me or are the unsubs unusually gruesome, these past few eps? Season 2 levels of yikes.
But hey, Blake and Morgan finally had a scene together! And she's ok, I like her plenty.
I can think of at least one that might not occur to many people: I suspect that a CM fan of my acquaintance with a chronic and painful skin affliction may well find this episode difficult viewing.
(There was also a commercial--at least on WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio--whose timing was singularly inopportune; right smack after the full horror of the UNSUB's...extremely alternative...health practices came to light, on came an ad for some over-the-counter medication: "When you've got a cold, everyone and their brother's got a home remedy.")

My own observation, and experience, is that being on the performer's side of the Fourth Wall, and privy to the prosaic reality of how the special effects work, can be a rather different experience than being slammed unforewarned with the full grisliness of the finished product; I've taken part in haunted attractions, and watched fellow performers no older than that girl gleefully chewing the carpet (and the bloody entrails, portrayed by spaghetti in marinara sauce.) A lot, of course, depends upon the individual child's (or adult's, for that matter) comfort zone.
(That's why Bill BIxby, before allowing his young son to watch The Incredible Hulk, took him to the studio to meet Lou Ferrigno and observe the successive stages of the makeup and transformation; he wanted to make it absolutely clear to the kid that Dad metamorphosing into a berserk green giant wasn't something to be concerned about in real life.)
The scenario wherein some deranged rustic maintains a hideout full of nude, shackled, and dehumanized captives is a stock horror-movie trope--but I trust everyone noticed the gender turnabout.
