Okay, someone is a Buffy fan in that writing room. The kids go to Sunnydale High, and the boy's name is William Pratt (Spike's name), and Mirror Man kills with nails (Spike got his name from his early revenge killing tool, railroad spikes)...So yeah, pretty close. And his BFF's name? Connor. Teehee, writer. I had to pause the DVR and giggle, bc I have a sick sense of humor.

And I think that kid played young Derek in Teen Wolf...Gets shot by Derek... Pffft

I caught the William Pratt bit and laughed, but I missed all the others. Oops! I'm only a casual BtVS fan, but those are a bit obvious and I really should have noticed those.

I blame it on the fact that BB!Derek Hale was in this ep. I kept thinking what a Teen Wolf and CM crossover would be like.

This was the scariest episode for me in a long time. The selfie angle was kinda… expected? and like, didn't Special Victims Unit just have their Slenderman ep? but man, I've gotten used to the idea that the cops can always save a hostage from getting hurt on TV and I jumped out of my skin when he shot her.
