FOX grabbed first for the 9 p.m. hour with the "American Idol" results show (15.8/24) and "'Til Death" (9.0/14). CBS' "Criminal Minds" had a 9.7/15 and even grabbed first for the hour's second half.
At 10 p.m., CBS' "CSI: NY" was the leader with a 9.1/15. ABC's "Lost" had a 7.4/12 for second.

Although the competition at 9 p.m. included American Idol, CBS sleeper success Criminal Minds was wide awake at a 10.5/16 in the overnights -- 36 percent above lead-in Survivor: Fiji (and second at 9:30 p.m., with an 11.2/17).
