okay that's does heres the point.... Um i know most write and read CM fanfiction...as I do. and i was wondering about the different ships.

Okay the two ships that i adore....are the least ever shown....i cry...lol
Man i sound so lame. i apologize.

okay so i really only read Reid/Morgan and Hotch/Gideon

the R/M spouted from thinking that they have this really neat relationship as it is..and they'd be hot together and the H/G just popped up becasue they are like "the Mommy and Daddy" of the BAU

I just wanted to ask what people are thinking about other Ships and because there isn't really a canon why they chose those specific ones.

Saw this entry on the bau_fic, then followed it here. XD In any case, I think Reid and Morgan are LOVE together, demonstrated by my mad drabblet skillz (kidding). You're right about there not being too much canon on them, but there is enough that I totally fell in love with the pairing. I guess I chose this pairing because of their general interaction on screen. Other good pairings are Morgan/Garcia, Reid/Gideon, and Morgan/Reid/Garcia (XD). HATE pairings are JJ/Reid and Hotch/Reid.

Not sure that's exactly what you were looking for from this post, but I'm trying very hard to not write an essay, and so far it's working....

I first saw Morgan/Reid and it immediately became the OTP, but sometimes I'll read Hotch/Reid, mostly 'cause there is such an abundance of it.
I don't read Hotch/Gideon, but yes, they are definitely the Mom and Dad of the group. Ever since I've thought about it like that I watch episodes and think of all the times that they're acting like it.
Um, I don't particularly like Reid/JJ, just because to me, there's not that much chemistry and I don't like Morgan/Garcia, because I think them as friends is wonderful and funny and cute, though I do see where the ship comes from.
I dunno, someone said once that Reid was the little black dress of the group; he looks good on anyone, and its sort of true. You can put Reid with anyone really.

i will read anyone paired with gideon - slash or het - i love jason gideon/mandy patinkin (i have loved him since the first time i saw the princess bride). truth be told i prefer to see him with reid and/or hotch (see slash girl's Released and Bound, yummy).

spencer reid is so lovely (smart, sensitive, pretty, sweetly awkward and he has been through so very much) and i like fic where gideon, hotch or morgan take care of him and make him feel good.

i like stories that let gideon be a father figure to the other boys, be it a pervy daddy!kink father, or a not pervy one - just a loving older, wiser one who obviously cares deeply about his 'kids'. i like stories that let hotch open up, let go, scream, weep, be vulnerable - he looks so tightly wound so often. i would love to see fiction where hotch and morgan bond over and help each other deal with the abuse they faced as children, be it in a reserved, half un-said way or full on with tears and cuddles (and sex, life affirming, abuse banishing, ecstacy inducing nookie).

i look forward to your fic. these guys suffer so beautifully and are so damn pretty. play nicely (or nastily - either way its good).
