Date: Apr. 17th, 2007 09:35 pm (UTC)Excuse me? You have no idea as to my feelings about yesterday, and you can stow your "polite request". I asked the question because I didn't see how postponing an episode would either help or hurt the victims of the shooting. It's a nice gesture, but the people who lost loved ones are going to be hurting just as much two weeks from now as they are today.

Date: Apr. 18th, 2007 12:50 am (UTC)I can understand the idea of them putting off this episode as well from a safety standpoint of the show itself. Sensitivity is high now and if they show this, people are going to flip out and be offended/upset more.
It's a safe move for the show and producers to make.
And honestly last thing I want is the fucking communist commission coming down any more on my entertainment than they already have been.

Date: Apr. 18th, 2007 03:27 pm (UTC)because that's exactly what they only care about. Postponing the episode is nothing more than bringing positive propaganda the network.

Date: Apr. 17th, 2007 09:27 pm (UTC)Now, the shooting isn't quite as big a deal as 9-11, but the story line is still very similar to what happened and out of respect for families and the fact that they don't want a bunch of complaints about insensitivity, they probably pulled it. We'll probably get it eventually, just at a later date.
