Episode Airing Next Week

There's been some discussion about which ep is due to air next week. Originally it was supposed to be 02x21: DOUBT. Then a CBS press release stated that DOUBT was being pulled and 02x22:OPEN SEASON would air instead. In fact, TV GUIDE and THE FUTON CRITIC both show OPEN SEASON as airing next Wednesday.

However, CBS's Innertube is showing a promo for a repeat of JONES. I would guess that this is the most accurate, but I wouldn't write it in stone just yet. May very well be that the network hasn't completely decided what they're doing just yet. So keep your eyes open- we really have no idea what will air next week. CBS's internal website, TV GUIDE and THE FUTON CRITIC are all saying one thing and CBS's external site is saying another.

It would not surprise me at all if we don't see Doubt on the air. Bones also pulled their episode completely - it was about a death of a college student, I don't know much more than that.

I would be VERY disappointed if DOUBT didn't show up until the DVDs. (1) It's a phenomenal script (2) will I understand and even support yanking the ep for a week out of respect, the similarities really aren't that great. Location only, to be honest. If you'll pardon the saying, I think that would be gross overkill.

Exactly!!! I hope they air the Bones episode too, maybe next week.

I love Kirsten's Journal. She is absolutely adorable. And I am kind of glad they pulled that episode. I'd hate for it to air and upset people because this whole shooting is already horrible enough. But hopefully it airs eventually because I really don't want more repeats.

It's Jones. That's what shows up on my DVR for this Wed.

BTW. When would they air it. A few weeks is way too early, people'd still be upset by seeing it. That pushes it back past the end of the season. They can't just throw it in in the middle of the next season because it might mess up the story line (or it may not). What if something in the season 2 story line is disrupted by this? Any thoughts?
