So, er, hi! I have never ever written a fanfic before - ulp! But I'd been daydreaming a story for a while, and I thought, heck, I love this community and I might as well give it a shot, right? So, I am. I hope it's not too terrible!

I would greatly welcome any and all comments on this first part - I think it will end up being 1/3 or 1/4 (I'm still writing it and only have a general outline in terms of how the rest goes) - and encourage honesty and good criticism to help me keep going! I'm very concerned about OOC moments, especially. I hope it's even interesting to read? At any rate, thanks much for your attention!

Rating: Hrm, probably PG-15, for description of violent crime? No slash, not many deets.
Pairing: Spencer Reid/OC
Summary: The BAU revisits Manhattan to solve murders of twins. . . and Reid meets someone who could be a perfect pairing.
Spoilers: There shouldn't be spoilers, really - I refer to a few character names from Season 5 and before, and may mention a detail or two, but I won't ever refer to major plot points or denouements.
