i think everyone is being pretty hard on the dude. even if he has totally stupid reasons for doing it HEY it's his life and like the caveman in those geico commercials he can do whatever the mothereff he wants to. im sorry to see him go but im not going to start blaming him for everything that goes wrong with my life.

thanks for posting this! i had heard yesterday that he left the show but didn't kow the whole story. Im so upset about this, i really hope it doesn't affect the ratings. I wonder how they'll work it into the storyline

Does anyone else think that the show could possibly tank w/o MP?? (according to the article it may implode)I mean, I didn't really like him all that much in the first place, he was not that good of an actor in my opinion. As others have said, I would prefer no one at all to a replacement, especially if it'll be easier for the writers to just find a reason to write Gideon out, and just move on. "Gideon died of a sudden heart attack...awwww...moving on..." sorta like that.
