Oh gosh, I betcha a nickel that we're going to get Garcia's backstory as they do the victimology on her, because that's all they have to go on.

You know, at times like these, I would offer to have Ed Bernero's children, but he already has somebody for that.

It's a very good ep based on the sides.

Garcia's health status is dealt with very early- and then it's the team by her side and she actively hunting the bastard who hurt her.

Some awesome JJ/Garcia scenes. Even better Garcia/Morgan ones.

As for her backstory, we find out that her folks died when she was 18 and that the FBI recruited her as opposed to having to imprison her for being a dangerous hacker. It REALLY comes across in this one that her family IS the BAU.

Oh and Hotch and Rossi- totally symbiotic.

Re: your comments: Well, we knew she was on a list. *g* That's about how I figured that history would play out: they've been working up to it for a long time. We know she has money (The car, the clothes) and we know she's got a record of come sort....

I love the way this show pays off the hints. Sometimes years later, but they don't forget 'em. (When you think about it, the payoff for Derailed was relatively short: it came in the same season.)

While you're dispensing hints, am I right in guessing that Children of the Dark is a Hotch ep?

Let it be said that I love you in indescribable and slightly inapproprate amounts. Spoilers are like crack to me, and any back story on Garcia is awesome!
And yes, she most certainly would be on a list - they were going to imprison her?!?!? Whoa, that blows my mind. And her parents died - do you know how? Aw, now I just want to hug her.

I can just imagine Hotch and Rossi being pals. This season promises to be a good'un!
