So I was watching the Emmy's last night and the little announcer said something like, "And from Criminal Minds..." so I perked up and it was the new guy Joe Mantegna. I was like o_O because he looked so different from the other pictures I've seen.

Criminal Minds can't be nominated for an Emmy because it's a Canadian show, right? That's what my mom said.

Isn't it filmed in Canada? I thought it was Canadian or something because I got it first in Canada on Tuesday when it airs in America on Wednesday. And AJ said something about how she loves being on a Canadian show...

The pilot I believe was filmed in Vancouver, otherwise they film in LA I'm pretty sure. But it is completely a US show.

It doesn't matter if it's filmed in Canada or not, the X-Files were filmed in Canada for years. It's an US show and the reason it doesn't get Emmy nominations is that the Emmy's don't seem to like shows like CM and the CSI's.

I think there should be a 'Best Procedural Drama' category myself, lol.
Just think... if all the CSIs and Law and Orders and Criminal Minds were up... it'd suck for the other shows. (since procedurals are usually formulatic and whatnot... kind of the same deal). As much as I love the crime dramas I'm kind of glad they aren't nominated with the rest of the shows.

Yeah, he's replacing Mandy as team leader cause apparently MP isn't interested in doing the show anymore or something-- although he'll be in a few of the first episodes this season.

haha yeah, they took down the Doubt pics with Gideon too.

There was a scene where the girl spits on JJ and Reid goes to the rescue and JJ is all i'm fine i'm fine and reid shares a lookt with Gideon. I hope that scene isn't compromised coz it was cute :(

How do you know they edited him out? Cause in the promo's it shows him so it wouldn't make sence if he was in the promo and then he like suddenly isn't in it at all?

but there are other cute scenes tho. I think there are at least 3 that i can think of now (incluidng this one). the episode is supposed to be filled with jj/reid goodness.

The promo pics don't show him. I had posted the old ones. At CBS the only have the jj pic, jj/reid pic and Emily pic. I know they edited him out because I think i remember reading somewhere. It was an interview with Ed Bernero.

The first episode of the season is going to be the episode from last season that was pulled because of the Virginia Tech shootings. The episode will be re-edited now, as a flashback, and we'll see scenes of Patinkin's character writing a note to a mysterious unknown person.

Guh. I have no idea what they mean by a flashback... but okay.

I love watching the Emmys!
They should have a Best Crime Drama category!
Then we could see which is best out of them all (and not annoy other procedurals (although I don't know what they are being from the UK and only watching crime shows!))
