So, I just began watching this show a few months ago after finding out an old friend of mine was on it. I'm living in California, trying to make something of myself (hey, who isn't in their mid-twenties?). Anyway, I really like the show a lot and think it is very well done. I'm currently working my way through the first season on DVD, and I assume I will be all caught up on past episodes by the time the next season begins!

Just recently, for fun, I wrote one of my friends a Criminal Minds fan fiction as a sort of writing practice exercise, and she informed me that there were communities out there for such things. To be honest, it's about 40 pages long (albeit broken into chapters) and there's no sex or explosions, so I don't really know how keen anyone would be on reading it.

My favorite character is Dr. Spencer Reid because he reminds me a lot of myself, but I know Joe Mantegna is on the show later and I'm excited to see that because I really like him.

Welcome! Feel free to post your fanfics here or at bau_fic (or both). I'm pretty sure sure someone will read it. Especially if has lots of Reid in it. I might read it too when i have the time.
