At first I didn't think that I was going to like Jordan (because I love JJ so much), but she isn't too bad. I'm assuming she's just going to be on the show for the episodes when AJ was out with her baby, however long that is.

I would love to see Jordan return, maybe Season 5, as a full-blown profiler. Though I dont want to see anyone leave or anything. As I said before, there is always more room on TV for intelligent, beautiful women with guns. I do love her chemistry with Emily too, they seem like they would be excellent friends.

Not necessarily. Bones has a lesbian couple. One of the main characters in House is bisexual, and had an episode practically revolve around her female loving side.

It'd give me a real reason to use this icon more often. XD

I've been wracking my brain trying to think of a current/successful CBS show with gay primary characters and cant, for the life of me, come up with one

Yes, they're becoming more prominent but the only channels that seem successful with it are Fox (oh the irony) and NBC (WB/UPN had its fleeting moment with Buffy) and cable networks, sadly.

I mean, I'm all for them making Emily and Jordan hook up, I just know it's an uphill battle to hope for.

Do you think Emily is a lesbian? She's the only female who hasn't had a relationship in the show, to my knowledge. And yes, it'd be awesome to see Todd reject Morgan's attempts at being a player.

I think that Emily could go either way. I know she's specifically mentioned going on a date with a "guy" (where she and morgan discuss vonnegut?) but since then, every mention of her having ANY sort of romantic life has been gender non-specific... which, as in both chasing amy and my own life, are directly correlated with not knowing how to broach the subject of "them" being "hers," if you will. The pronoun game, as it's called.

Not to mention, I think with at least one openly gay cast member (KV!), it'd be a great service to not only have a gay character on the show but such an already strong, complex female character who also happens to be a lesbian.

Though, a counterpoint for anyone who thinks gosh, you're a lesbian, of course you're going to say the hot brunette is a lesbian--i can also see her legitimately straight and am a bit of a hotch/emily shipper, so don't count that chicken without hatching.

Yeah, I was pretty sure Emily's romantic life is completely unknown. I can understand why, though. I didn't know Reid could even find anything attractive other than facts until this last episode. Aside from JJ, everyone on the team is single. Any of them could go either way.

Emily would be a great candidate. Minimal Loss was an amazing episode for her. Then to see her turn around and comfort Reid, it was just great.

Welcome to the lesbian club! Me, too! And like I said, the BAU doesn't get to have much personal time to date and what not, so any of the characters could be gay or bisexual. The characters are always up for interpretation to the viewer.

I think Emily enjoys her romantic life being unknown but lets seriously take a look at the jabs on her personal life this season

-Coy flirting from Cooper (not returned)
-Angelmaker groupie making the jab at her not being in love
-Date... Hot tub date?
-Last eligible DONOR (not last eligible man)
-I've dated *people* worse than Viper

Thats FIVE jabs in NINE episodes. Thats a LOT of relationship banter.... they HAVE to be building up to something to do with her romantic life or lackthereof whether it's some kind of abuse or her sexuality (or. both.)

...and lets not forget the manwatch.

Though with relationships as far as the team goes, JJ --> Will (*shudder*); Hotch --> Haley; Hotch -?-> Kate; Reid --> Lila; Reid -->Austin; Rossi --> His Three Wives

So our most eligible bachelor and bachelorettes for a more significant likelihood of a non-heterosexual category are Morgan, Emily and Jordan. (and to those of you saying "but Morgan's a player" have you never heard of being on the DL? I'm just sayin' it's a possibility) though you're entirely right, still. None of the aforementioned relationships mean heterosexuality for sure, none of those aforementioned lack of relationships automatically mean oh hai i'm gai.

I hope your assessment is correct. We’ve gotten all this story on Reid lately, so of course Emily is next, right? They said this season, we’d be getting to know more about the characters and their personal lives.

OMG is Will not the ugliest guy ever?

With as much slash fanfiction involving Morgan as there is on the internet, I don’t know why people are so surprised to think he could swing the other way, or even both ways.

But I’m really hoping that Emily and Jordan hit it off so that she still has a role in the series. I’m pretty fond of her. Does anyone know if JJ is even coming back?

jj is absolutely coming back, she's written back in starting at episode eleven, as far as i know, so her return is not far off. at the paley shindig, she was talking about being on-set (in regard to her shorty shorts on-set) again and paget and kirsten both mentioned "really missing her" when she was gone, if I recall correctly.

I don't think Josh Stewart is ugly because his eyes are particularly gorgeous... it's the rest of him (and his horrible drawl as Will) that I can't stand. I also just can't stand Will's character, he seems so seedy!

Morgan is deliciously slashable. I've noticed Reid and Emily end up the team bicycle, there's fic for them with EVERYONE.

I do enjoy jordan. quite enjoy her, in fact. I miss JJ a lot less than I thought I would because Jordan's a good time.

no no its not just lesbians who want to see them together. :) im a straight girl and when i watch them on screen together i see mad chemistry! i didnt even like todd when she first came on and im still iffy on her but its totally obvious there could be a good storyline with todd/emily. i think it would be cute. it certainly feels like theyre building up to something like that, theyd be stupid if they didnt because there is so much on screen chemistry. emily is one of my fav characters and i know theyre supposed to be doing an episode focusing on her soon and it involves a "secret" so maybe its her sexuality? i guess we will have to wait and see. :)
