He's won Tony awards for his work on Broadway. He was just in Australia on tour, and he regularly performs concerts. He has an AMAZING voice--and lots of CD's.
I have seen him in concert twice, loved it. The 2nd time I saw him I was close enough to see him spit when he sang. Luckily, just far enough away though. :)
You haven't lived until you have heard White Christmas in Yiddish :)
I'd heard that he did these songs at the CBS upfronts in May, but there wasn't a copy to be found. Our local tv reporter, who is a die-hard Mandy fangirl, said they were awful when I asked about them in her weekly online chat. But she's wrong - this is wonderful!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! (Now I have to figure out a way to cap it and make icons. Some of his expressions...)
Isn't he wonderful? People get rubbed the wrong way by Mandy sometimes. You either love his facial expressions and over-the-topedness, or you're turned off by it all.
*smiles* I have one of his (real) CD's.... ( I got it when I started watching 'dead like me'....) I just think he's great that he's willing to make fun of himself like that!
That's so cute that you named your puppy that full name!
I do think the first season was better than the second. I found the father-daughter thing between George and Rube to be much more interesting than the Mason-Daisy/George and her dates story. I wanted more about the reapers and their friendships than the romance that just seemed to clutter the "real" story.
But I still loved it all. I wish it was still around other than on my DVD's
