Criminal Minds -- 9:00-10:00PM CBS
Season 1 ended with the cadre of FBI profiler, led by Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), puzzling out a killer’s clues. “Within two weeks [ of the finale], I went online, “ recalls exec producer Ed Barnero. “Omigod, the fans figured it out!” This season picks up with agent Elle Greenaway (Lola Glaudini)recovering from gunshot wound and the crew solving a host of trippy cases like a bank robber who likes to see his victims nekkid. But that’s not half as bizarre as what Bernero does to his staff. “We tried to convince one of our writers to have her husband glue her eyes open to see if it was possible,” he confesses. “We’re doing any number of depraved things.” (Sept. 20)
