Question about the Fisher King...(spoilers?)

So I watched part 1 right before the premiere came on, just so everything would be fresh in my mind.

Did Derek have anything done to him by the un-sub? Everyone else either got a message, a package, a head, or arrested...but I don't remember him getting anything.

Was there some reason behind it? ETA: I mean behind him not having anything done to him.

Yes, he was in Jamiaca with Elle, but nothing really happened to him. He didn't get arrested or anything- all he was doing was trying to get the police to clear her name. Plus he got no weird messages or anything.

Knowing what we know now, about Reid and his mother, it could be that Morgan hasn't told Reid anything, and so there was nothing for Garner to use. Reid and Morgan have a prickly relationship at the best of times, so it's highly unlikely Morgan would have told Reid anything detailed about himself. I think Morgan told Reid where he would be staying in Jamaica, and that's the info Garner used.
