Hope you don't mind I'm truncating my intro a bit. I started watching CM reruns last spring, sporadically, but when my DVR started taping the A&E reruns I began watching four-five eps at a time and became irrevocably hooked. I darted to Best Buy to pick up the existing boxed sets and pre-ordered the fourth. I've now seen the entire series to date. Yeah, in like a month. That's how I roll when I pick up a new fandom. In for a penny, in for a pound.

I also seem to be in the unfortunate position of shipping Reid/Prentiss, which NO ONE else seems to do, which puzzles me since to me it seems like a great pairing. Since I'm a longtime and inveterate fanfic writer (I'm a freelance writer and novelist IRL) naturally I've begun a grand epic fic which I hope to start posting soon...I hope someone will be interested in it!

I'd also like to find a beta who is more familiar with the CM fandom and has writing cred to help me prep it, if anyone is interested.

I also made an icon last night because I felt like it. Feel free to gank and credit.

I wish I had time to offer as your beta, but it sucks, because I'm already tied up beta-ing for a couple of other people.

Anyway - you are SOOO not the only Reid/Prentiss shipper. It makes me feel weird - because Reid always seems so damned young - but they'd make an awesome pairing.

And I am looking forward to your fic, in all its grand epic-ness (is there any better kind?).
