I'm confused, it's a line from 3 episodes ago, so is this still considered a spoiler? Anything else is pure spec. And if it's considered cut-worthy, shouldn't the policy say "anything episode specific has to go under a cut". Because to me spoiler is something in the future, not something pertaining to old episodes. Or do you mean that as a question of size rather than spoiler content?

The rule on virtually any comm is anything episode-specific pertaining to seasons not yet in syndication (that is, the current season and any future seasons) goes under a cut as a courtesy to non-American veiwers or those who haven't gotten to the DVR/VCR recording yet.

Spoilers are usually pertaining to future eps, but also very recent eps that not everyone might got had to see. And ongoing storylines (like the ones in your post, and pertaining to future eps!) are potential spoilers.

Icons from recent eps aren't necessarily spoilers, because a close up of a character won't actually tell you what is going on. Icons with Reid lying hurt on the ground are spoilers.

Anyway, the rule of thumb is that if you're not sure, better put in a spoiler warning.

I immediately though it'd be a toss-up between these two options:
Hotch and Haley will try to get back together for a while but crash and burn once again
Hotch will make another play for Haley, but she'll not be interested

But voted for the second. I don't think she'd be willing to go back to him, especially after she and her child were put in such danger 'cause of his job.

I just think that he wants to make up to her that she had to move because of him. Just because they're seperated, doesn't mean that he wants to see her hurt in any way, or that he doesn't feel bad to cause her this kind of trouble.

I don't get why it automatically has to mean they'll try to get back together, but I'm in minority who doesn't hate Haley so my opinion is invalid in the fandom anyway lol

I guess I'm in that same minority. I love Haley, I understand why she left him, even though part of me still wants to see them get back together. Even if the chance of that happening is zero to nothing.

I think they might get back together, but I still think it'll be a matter of what Haley wants most. Her childhood sweetheart and the father of her child with a nine to five life? I didn't like the sound of that quote on Sept 24th and I like it even less after "Reckoner" and Rossi's comments.

Could the "BIG CM SPIN-OFF ZOMGZOARS" we've been hearing whispers about be "The Aaron Hotchner Show", after he transfers/maybe he'll retire/do private consults from his office in his home?

I honestly can't see Hotch being able to really leave the team. I think even when he retires he'll still be involved somehow, whether he's consulting private firms or profiling crimes from the newspapers, he'll still be doing his damndest to put one more Unsub in jail.

Just the possibility of our BAU, that we grown to know and love, not involving Hotch just upsets me. That goes for any of the BAU agents actually. The show just wouldn't be complete with any of them missing.

Just because they're separated, doesn't mean he has forgotten her or doesn't care about her. He feels guilty, he is just looking out for two important people in his life. Maybe it will lead to sth more or that they will be together again but I doubt that line meant specifically that.

The only way Haley would get back together with Hotch is if he left the BAU, which he has no intentions of doing. Just because they are divorced doesn't mean that Hotch doesn't care about her-she is after all the mother of his son.

I think at that moment he wanted to get back with her, BUT I don't know how consistently he will feel that way...

...or that could just be the part of me that enjoys the prettiness of Hotch with Emily or JJ (or recently Morgan) in fanfic (where it's safe, lol!) intruding into my perceptions of the show, despite knowing that none of those pairings should ever be while Hotch is at the BAU: pulling a Letterman (i.e. sleeping with underlings) = slimy and would destroy his career... A supervising agent is strictly forbidden etc. etc.. My wanting Hotch to remain the man of integrity he is (and wanting him to stay at the BAU) makes me think he really believes it when he says he wants to make it up to Haley, at least at the time he says it. Crash and burn may or may not happen.
