Time for another PSA from your friendly neighborhood mods with a few reminders.

We've once again amended the rules a bit. Namely rule #4 that now states:

4. Large pictures (anything larger than 300px in height and length), more than three icons, fanfic, and any other "large" posts should go behind a LJ-cut. And please do not format your posts with large fonts and bright colors.

This is just a small issue, and we've included it because it improves readability (and saves flists). The moderators cannot edit your posts, so if a moderator asks that you edit your post (for any reason) please do so as soon as possible. If you have not done so within five hours of the request, your post will be deleted. Reposts that do not break the rules are allowed.

Also, we have decided that Real Person Fanfiction (RPF) will not be allowed in this community. This also means we won't allow any advertisements from communities/sites with such content (to the best of our knowledge) and we will not accept any such affiliates. We apologize for any inconvenience but we are not willing to risk legal repercussion due to libel or defamation of character should someone directly affiliated with CBS or Criminal Minds stumble across us. The show makes every effort to pay attention to its fans, and we don't want to risk a negative outcome because of it.

We also want to remind everyone that the best way to contact the mods with any questions and/or issues is through the email address criminal.x.minds@gmail.com. If you want to advertise your community, please ask here, and if you want to affiliate with us, make a  comment here.

And finally, criminalxminds  is not in any way affiliated with any contests advertised here. We cannot vouch for the people who are holding these contests, or for the quality of the prizes, and we do not want to get involved in any disputes. And, as our show keeps reminding us, be careful with how you disclose your private information online.
