My thoughts exactly. I understand this is a pseudo-pilot episode, but come on! I guessed the UNSUB's motivation half-way through (I'm not showing off - my grandma guessed it, too). And don't get me started on the complete improbability of this entire premise... the FBI is all about bureaucracy. It doesn't take a criminal justice student to tell you that.

And the Profit being pardoned for killing a child molester? Seriously? How exactly is that a valuable asset to the BAU? I was hoping he was con artist or convicted for something that would give this team some sort of valuable insight into the criminal mind. Unless they later reveal that it was his kid who was molested, the Profit's backstory just seems like lazy writing to me.

Enough of my ramble. The other reason I replied to your comment is that I love your icon and I wanted to tell you so. Much happiness it has brought me in these sad times!
