I don't know. If I heard a baby crying from inside a locked car, I'd go investigate. Kids really do die (and in really awful ways) from being left in a car.

It seemed like she barely looked around for a potential owner of the car though and she had her own young charge to consider. In the USA there are non emergency numbers to call, aren't there? It just seemed odd to me that she would open a stranger's car door so quickly.
