I went to college in Buffalo last year! No offense to your city but I definitely didn't feel safe there at times, so I'm not surprised to hear that it's a big gang city (according to Morgan)
But then again, I live in Rochester which has one of the highest (if not the highest) homicide rate or something...
This episode was kind of "meh" for me. I liked that Garcia had a bigger piece of the action, actually going out into the field. But there was no Garcia-Morgan interaction. I knew the unsub wasn't going to hurt the kid, so there wasn't a lot of tension.
- I like that Hotch asks if Garcia's okay coming along after kind of forcing her to be a profiler in the arson episode. He's more sensitive to the fact that she's sensitive.
- Girl, don't tell a guy that he looks like a serial killer. Because he might actually be the serial killer, and then you'll be dead.
- I think the blind kid's mom was his first victim, when he wasn't in control of himself.
- I've never heard of echo location being used by blind people. Cool.
- Using bread to plug up a gunshot wound. That is so unsanitary. I can't believe someone with OCD, which comes with a germ phobia usually, would do something like that.
- Aw Hotch, sitting alone in a dark room watching this guy's movies is so not healthy.
Me too. And then I ask myself, "Self, why are you sad that the unsub's dying? He's an unsub, after all." And I am very confused, because THIS SHOW CAUSES ME TO HAVE CONFUSING FEELINGS.
Also, thank god I'm not the only one thinking that about Hotch. And wondering whether it is OMG important that we notice the unhealthiness of that. Makes me see special significance in Morgan getting the sweet George Chakiris quote, but Hotch having the Bacon quote about Darkness.
The OCD part element was very interesting to me, because my little bro has a milder form of it, and the whole superhygenic thing is not part of it. He's completely normal about 75% of things in his life, and OCD only about certain areas.
This one just failed to grip for me. Meh from start to finish. Good to see them bringing Garcia along. Now if only someone would brush Reid's hair occasionally.
This one was beautiful. I will admit that I cried. It wasn't a "OMG crimestuff" episode; it was a people-episode. The crimes were background to the emotional investments, and I absolutely love it when the writers manage to do that.
Did anyone else cry at the end? I thought this episode was great and a nice change of pace. Even though Vincent killed all those people I still felt bad for him...and that poor little boy....I really did love this episode.
And I love that they are allowing Garcia out in the field more. She was so cute when she said that she didn't have a 'go-bag'
god this episode made me feel so incredibly uncomfortable. i have a mild form of ocd and it was hard to watch a lot of his rituals and the severeness of it. i really liked the episode, it was just very hard to watch those parts.
Okay, this episode was awesome, but the evil online version I was watching cut out right at the end. I saw the part where Morgan gets Stanley off the Ferris wheel, his mother hugs him, then Stanley goes to ask Morgan a question. Morgan asks him what's up, then - nothing. I think I probably only missed a few seconds, but can one of you awesome folks out there fill a girl in?
I'm a day late, because I was busy watching CSI NY last night XD I think I'm the only one who teared up when Stan started feeling Morgan's face, it was sweet and sad. I felt bad that Vincent died, and Alex did an amazing job.
