Do not agree. Reid did actually die, like literally, before Tobias came back and "saved him." A loaded gun was held to his face and the trigger was pulled. He had a seizure and stopped breathing... He was beaten, his foot was probably broken, he was drugged, tied to a chair, and forced to watch people murdered in front him, while believing it was his fault. Hankel made him choose someone to die... And oh yeah, don't forget the digging his own grave part...

In Conflicted Morgan says that Tobias had Reid for two days. We obviously didn't see everything that happened during that time period, and neither did the team. So no one really knows what happened to Reid. And I know that the CM writers just love those time jumps (because Reid would have been out for a while after Hankel, and yet he's back the next episode), but still. SHOW someone helping him. We never see anyone (like Morgan, who Reid is closest to) driving him to work, or going to check on him. I WANT THAT. I love Reid, but he is one seriously messed up person. He needs someone to lean on and I wanna see it.

It's not a contest, though. I'd say they were both extremely traumatizing events (obviously), but we get more on screen time of the team 'mother hen-ing' Hotch. And with Reid, there was the whole drug issue... but still! I WANT TO SEE MORGAN DRIVE REID HOME. NAO, KTHX. LISTEN TO ME, WRITERS!! *shakes fist*

One scene. One teeny scene, and that's all we get, along with Reid telling Gideon "I'm struggling" and Gideon not really saying anything. (Oh and Reid finally outbursting at someone, poor Prentiss...) And Hotch never talked to Reid about the drugs, since no one ever says 'drugs,' but he condemns his behavior in Elephant's Memory and tells him he'll fire him if he does it again. And I don't recall a scene with Morgan ever following Reid into a bathroom... there is a bathroom scene, though, where Reid locks himself in and pulls out the dilaudid and stares at it for a while...

That's just snippets though. I'm talking like this last episode, where Prentiss picks up Hotch and drops him off and interacts with him in his own apartment, and helps him. I want to see someone do that for Reid, and not just once. A whole episode about Reid's PTSD, for once. Lord knows the boy has it, after all he's been through. :/

Also, it takes two damn seasons for Morgan and Reid to have a serious talk about Hankel and how Reid actually feels about the whole thing. TWO. SEASONS. ?!??!!!?

Sorry. Reid is my all time favorite, ever. ;) I love Hotch, and yeah he's also been through hell, but don't downplay Reid's pain. He has it. :'( Still. I mean, if you really compare them... being stabbed/tortured for a few hours or being tortured/beaten/drugged/tied up for two whole days while having to save yourself... I'd go with neither, personally, but...

Sorry. Really. I'm uber defensive about my baby Reid-face!!! :D :D :D :D I loves him... :D
