Question: Now that Criminal Minds has wrapped up the Reaper storyline, can we please get more of the characters besides Hotch? — Cecille

(Editorial comment from me: Hello? Yeah, like we get soooo much Hotch every season. God forbid we focus on him for a while.)


ADAM: Ask and you shall receive. Executive producer Ed Bernero promises much more of Dr. Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler, who has been sidelined because of a real-life injury) in the back half of the season. "There were some things we had planned for him that we had to just back off of. The guy is there every day for work, he just can't walk." Fine, so maybe we can expect some shirtless Morgan (Shemar Moore) in the meantime? "Anytime we can get Shemar's shirt off, it's a boon for us," Bernero says.

Very much agreed. Let's hope they stay on track with the team dynamic. ^^

They're all so dependant on each other I can't really see how you can like one and not another. I mean, I have favorites too, but I don't not like somebody...that's kind of missing the point, in my opinion.

Seconded. I like the show because I find all the characters to be individuals who work well together. The characters have their flaws as well as their strengths and this is what makes them identifiable. I do have favourites, but there are none I dislike. I would like to have a little more background on JJ, as she's one character I feel I don't 'know' as well as the others. But what I would really like now, are some case driven episodes which focus on the psychology of the UnSub and don't have the character arcs at the forefront for a while!

They have such a family-esque dynamic that I have come to adore. :3

*is still catching up O_o* I would kind of like to see character arcs continue (I'm a big sucker for character development episodes in general), but I haven't been watching consistently, so I can't say I'm burnt out on it like those who have been watching chronologically this season. ^^'''

I wouldn't say I was burnt out (I'm still writing goddamn fanfic that centres around case and characters!) but I do feel that some of the episodes haven't been as strong in that respect, although I though Outfoxed was good. I loved episodes such as the Evilution of Frank, North Mamon which were really unusual with their UnSubs, and I'd like some more of that please!!
We've got all the team without Hotch to go through for an ep or so, and then the question of whether Hotch will resume as Unit Chief. I am looking forward to that, and seeing what the writers come up with.

Yeah, I can understand that sentiment. I'd kind of like to see an UNSUB like Robert Hansen. He was...unique. >_>

From what I've seen so far, the writers seem very good at keeping up broader themes over the course of several episodes, so I imagine Hotch's (hopeful) recovery will be included subtly. I look forward to that too. ^^
