KIRSTEN VANGSNESS BECOMES A SERIES REGULAR ON CBS'S "CRIMINAL MINDS"
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 -- Kirsten Vangsness has been made a series regular on CRIMINAL MINDS, starring as computer technical wizard Penelope Garcia. To date, Vangsness has appeared in the series on a recurring basis. CRIMINAL MINDS also stars Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson, Lola Glaudini, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler and A.J. Cook.
Vangsness has guest starred on the television series "LAX" and "Phil of the Future." Her feature film credits include "Sometimes Santa's Gotta Get Whacked" and "A-List."
CRIMINAL MINDS is the season's second most watched new series, averaging 13.27 million viewers per week. It is Wednesday's top new program and places a strong second in viewers and key demographics to "Lost."
