Filming Issues

Interesting info, I thought.  Cast and crew have had their holidays canceled because they are already behind schedule.

"The show has taken on some new people, and they are behind on production, so all of their plans for taking holidays have been cancelled, and they are staying on the set."

New York ComiCon and Criminal Minds

Hey there, Crim Comm!

If you're a fandom addict like me, you haven't thought about anything else in the last few days but tonight's premiere! How exciting.

That being said, I have a question that may or may not be answerable/permitted (so, mods, feel free to delete this if you must).

I was wondering if anybody knew what Criminal Minds intends to do at this year's New York Comic Convention (NYCC) on October 8-10. I know that the entire cast was featured in a panel at SDCC, but I have no idea if they have ever done anything for NYCC. I will be there regardless, but it would be nice to know ahead of time if I need to arrive early to get in line for cast autographs/panels/fangirling.

So basically, has anyone ever gone and seen something CM-related there, and do we know anything about cast/crew being there either officially or unofficially?

ETA: Okay, apparently there was never an SDCC Crim panel, though KV did to a "teching out" panel there:

The video I thought was from SDCC was actually from something else entirely! Sorry for the confusion (though I still can't believe that there wouldn't be anything CM-related at the con)!

The Cast Of Criminal Minds To Host Special Event

A special screening of AREA 9 Productions' documentary "SWAN" and after-party at the Action On Film International Film Festival on July 24, 2010 in Pasadena, CA will benefit Lung Cancer Foundation of America.

At the Action On Film International Film Festival VI, AREA 9 Productions will present "SWAN," a charity event to benefit the Lung Cancer Foundation Of America. The event -- which will be hosted by Executive Producer Ed Bernero and the cast of the popular CBS television show, "CRIMINAL MINDS" (celebrating its sixth season this fall) -- will take place on Saturday, July 24th.

The evening's festivities will begin at 6:00 pm, featuring a special screening of "SWAN, one man's journey," an inspirational biographical documentary on the development of award-winning filmmaker Andy Swan's life, career, and his passion and commitment to filmmaking.

Tickets can be purchased at http://www.aoffest.com. Prices are $20 in advance / $25 at the door. Purchase early as seats are limited. Proceeds will go to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.


Such a great team of people. I really hope the whole cast is there. One last hurrah all together.

Thomas Gibson is going to be on Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday, March 25th. Thought you would all like to know.

EDIT: Okay I've been informed that this is a repeat from November. I kept wondering why he was going to be appearing on the show anyway, considering there won't be any new episodes till next month.

random: Elle worked for Emily!

Ok, not really but that was my immediate thought as I caught this clip of Andy Richter Controls the Universe. And I swear, I have not been drinking (neither am I high on anything!) but it got even funnier picturing Morgan as Andy.

I wonder what it says about me that I'm starting to picture CM in everything. =/ (lol)

Now I really want Elle to make a guest appearance. =P

Seriously though, I understand the reason that Lola left the show but if she were able, I think it would make for a great ep to have Elle return and meet her replacement. I also found it kind of strange that Morgan never really said much about her exit (or has mentioned her since) considering they introduced Elle to us with a connection to him. Hmm.

Since NBC has effectively erased Conan O'Brien's tonight show from the internet, does anyone know where I can find Paget's interview from episode 27? It's pretty amusing to me, and now it's just, poof, vanished. Please and thank you.
