Gideon and Elle

britt-m-89.livejournal.comIs it just me, or would anybody love to know what Elle and Gideon are up too now? Maybe Elle could come back for an episode? I see that more likely than Gideon returning. I heard Lola Glaudini left on pretty good terms while Mandy Patinkin didn't.

I wonder what it says about me that I'm starting to picture CM in everything. =/ (lol)

Seriously though, I understand the reason that Lola left the show but if she were able, I think it would make for a great ep to have Elle return and meet her replacement. I also found it kind of strange that Morgan never really said much about her exit (or has mentioned her since) considering they introduced Elle to us with a connection to him. Hmm.
ETA: Ok, YouTube and/or LJ was acting weird and the link kept going to the fanvid I previously posted. Sorry!

What about Lola?
Oct. 29th, 2009 09:57 pmannievh.livejournal.comSince somebody posted that comment from Bernero about Mandy leaving (sorry I can't remember your name) it stuck to my head I don't really know why Lola (won't even try to type her last name) left the show. I never liked Elle that much because I know she's supposed to be like a feminist character, the strong woman, but many times she sounded like a men-hater stereotype - she always had to punch a man or kick him or shoot him; even so, I do think she had a few good moments and her departure, though good, made me wander.
I heard she was unhappy in LA and moved to NY. I also think I heard she got pregnant and left to have her baby. Whatever reason it was, she rest of the cast didn't seem upset at her the same way they were at Mandy, as they agreed to shot scenes WITH her.
So I was wandering, why did she leave and what did the rest of the cast have to say.

Elle vs. Em
Jul. 26th, 2008 11:51 amspence-reid.livejournal.comThe whole Gideon vs. Rossi thing is too easy. Everyone loves Gideon (if you disagree, feel free to tell us!!) So, do like Elle Greenaway or Emily Prentiss better? Lola Glaudini or Paget Brewster?
Personally, as kickass and awesome as Elle was, I like Emily better. Elle was a little too temperamental for me. Emily's passions are directed at her job, and she's able to keep her rage in check. Also, although Lola Glaudini made some fun facial expressions which I've stolen for my own use, I think Paget Brewster is a little higher caliber. The scene where she and Hotch are in the burn ward and she is trying so hard not to cry.....awesome.
Anyway, comments, rants, whatever.....just thought it would be interesting to see what people think!!!
